This is a most impressive daffodil of all, well at least to me.
A couple of years ago I found this daffodil bud, didn’t remember what happened to it. Anyway it had this pea size bud on a stem about 2 inches long. I stuck it into a corner of my spring bulb planter just because I didn’t want to throw it away. And astonishly as time went by I noticed it was growing taller and the bud got bigger… And this is how it looks like today, Apr 20,2018! The stem had grown abt 7 inches long, and the flower although it’s not in perfect form it is gorgeous! It’s stunning to see how it has come about… Incredible!
I’m totally amazed how strong the survival instinct was in this daffodil, what a inspiration!
