I also found a Robin nest inside the thuja bush in our back yard… Mom and dad are guarding their babies like Hawks … They make those really loud and obnoxious noise if you’re near by their nest! And this is how I know they have a nest in there, ha.
Don’t know when they were hatched, this is on May 12th. There are three of them, but one is definitely a runt…May 13th, the Runt obviously didn’t make it… SadMay 14th.May 15th, look at those big mouths, hungry birdies. Their eyes are starting to open, still kind of cloudy.May 16th, one is always keeping an eye open on … the predators?See what a difference 5 days can make …May 17, so comfy! Again one is watching…May 18, both are watching, and they seem like each other…May 19 am, It Looks like one is shy… beautiful fluffy feathers!May 19 pm, waiting for food to be delivered…May 20th, 9 days later after they’ve been discovered…9 plus days together, they still get along…May 20th is also the day parents decided not to bring them worms, time for them to leave the nest, but will they leave their cozy home for good…?Parents are very frustrated because babies just won’t budge.
In the afternoon, they gave up and started to bring babies worms. So they won one more day to be in their comfy home!May 21st, look at those bright eyes! Parents are still trying to get them out of the nest… They are so fluffy, fill up the whole nest. With a little “push”, out they go to the big wild world…Here is the watchful birdie number one…And this is the Shy Birdie number two! Both of them definitely seem having a shock attack, just don’t know how to react to this unknown world, but they will for sure learn quickly from their Mom and Dad. And they are busy bringing them worms now, and also encourage them to leave this “dangerous” place!
THE END
Note:
I just took pictures of them, never touched them.

Beautiful story and photo’s Jiao!!!
Loved sharing this adventure!
Every thing plants, birds, weeds are all thriving this year, must be the showers and sunshine we have been having through the spring! Definitely keep me busy and entertained and I am happy you like it too!
Such a fun story! Love seeing them grow up so fast. I think we have chickadee babies in our bird house! The adults keep flying in and then back out in a couple minutes at most. Maybe they are building a nest? Haven’t been close enough to see what they are bringing with them. Food or nest material.
